Peace in Hopeless Situation
“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.”
(Isaiah 41:10 KJV)
New Testament believers have also become God’s chosen servants according to the Books of Ephesians 1:3-12 and 1 Peter 2:9. We can therefore claim the promises of the verse above for ourselves. We must not fear other humans, because God is with us. We don’t have to lose our peace even in the midst of a hopeless situation because God is with us. God is definitely with us to impart the grace and strength needed to face all of life’s circumstances. He is with us to help us through times of crisis as our source of peace; and to sustain us and to be our advocate.

So many times it is easy to just give up when we are facing a hopeless situation. It could feel like the world has stopped turning. Everything does not mean anything anymore. Life loses its joy and purpose. Our minds get cloudy and our focus blurry. We just want to quit and stop living. But that’s not exactly what God has intended for us to live our lives. We are supposed to be brave and courageous. But how do we exactly go through a hopeless situation? Well, I have good news for you my friend, we don’t have to go through it alone. When you face such situations, here are a few things you need to do.

Fix your eyes on Jesus
In our race of faith we look to Jesus as our example of trusting God. In commitment to His will; of prayer; of overcoming temptation and suffering; of enduring loyalty to the Father, and of seeking the joy of completing the work to which God has called us. God is our source of strength, love, grace, peace, mercy and help.

Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith
In the Book of Hebrews 12:2-3 KJV says- “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider Him that endured such contradiction of sinners against Himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.” Just to think that Jesus endured all of that hard situation He had to go through, we can somehow learn from Him. I learned from the examples of Jesus.

Trust God for intervention
There were times in my own life when I was facing many hopeless situations. And every time I always call out to the Lord Jesus. I always looked up to Him for strength. I trust God for intervention. And God always shows up. God is always faithful in helping me through those difficult situations. When we can put our perspective in God’s point of view and know that everything is passing away, then we can better face our situations with hope for what lies ahead.

Believe in miracles
I can really testify that God still performs miracles. And I am one who believes in miracles. I saw it happening in my life and my family’s life. So many hopeless situations that God turned into a blessing.
Yes a blessing because through those hopeless situations that we came to know God is a personal way. We came to know the wonderful gift of salvation that He offered through His Son Jesus.
Hopelessness can be a turning point of your life to know God’s purpose for your life.

Hopeless situations can make us or break us.
It can make us turn to God who does the impossible things for our lives. It can also break us if we refuse to turn our lives to Him and trust His power to turn our situations around. It was through those hopeless situations that I saw the power of God manifested and did wonders. God performed miracles after miracles in the lives of my family and those I came to know.
If you want to read more of my stories, you can check out my other book about my testimony, it is full of many miracles that God did for me and my family. The title of that book is “The Miraculous Saving Grace of God”. Believing the Word of God in the Bible has taught me to trust God completely no matter what the situation is. I know God always comes to our rescue.
Nothing is impossible with God
When you come to God and put your trust in Him, He will show miracles in your life. If you are not one who believes in miracles, I encourage you to give God a chance to show His great power. Jesus Himself said in the Book of Luke 18:27 KJV- “The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.”
Jesus also made a statement to the father of a boy who was very sick in the Book of Mark 9:23 KJV- “Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.” Jesus’ statement must not be taken as an unqualified promise. The “all things” does not mean everything we can think of. The prayer of faith must be based on God’s will; it never asks for anything foolish or wrong.

Miracles happen to those who believe
The faith required here must be received as a gift of God. He implants it in the heart of a sincere seeker who lives faithfully according to His will. In the Book of Acts 19:11-12 KJV it says that “God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul: So that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them.” Paul’s ministry at Ephesus was marked by extraordinary miracles of healing and deliverance from demons, accomplished directly through handkerchiefs or aprons that had been in contact with his body. Diseases disappeared and evil spirits left when the afflicted touched the cloth.
What God did through Paul can also happen to us when we believe and trust God completely. It may not be exactly in the same manner, but you will see God working in a very powerful way. I have seen it so many times in my life. God is an awesome God “Which doeth great things and unsearchable; marvellous things without number” (Job 5:9 KJV). Friends, you have nothing to lose but so much to gain by putting your faith and trust in the God who still performs miracles.
